Tasting notes
Intense, sleek nose – very sophisticated. Lots to fill the mouth here – richer than some of its stablemates. Does that make it better? I’m not sure … (JR)

Creamy, a hint of honeyed sweetcorn, grilled sweetcorn, fresh lemon thyme. Deep swoop and lavish swish into bright, generous fruit, glistening with iridescent citrus acidity. A beguiling Chardonnay that walks the tightrope of sunny ripeness and cool-cut minerality. (TC)
Lastly, the 2020 Chardonnay Four is a smaller production release that was aged in 15% new French barrels and the rest in neutral barrels. It has terrific golden fruits, toasted bread, and floral notes, medium-bodied richness, a supple, elegant mouthfeel, and a great finish. As with all these wines from Liquid Farm, it shines for its purity and elegance while bringing notable richness and depth. Liquid Farm Winery continues to produce classic, elegant, yet still nicely concentrated wines. The Pinot Noir lineup has grown as well, and they now release an appellation Pinot Noir as well as three single vineyards. In addition to their Central Coast releases, I was also able to taste a Champagne from this estate that certainly merited attention, so I’ve opted to include it as well.
