Mid ruby. Hints of eucalyptus hovering over leafy, shy cherry fruit. Supple juicy and polished fruit with coating tannins giving it an edge. Lots of juice on the finish and minerally, saline notes. (WS)
The 2020 Brunello di Montalcino smolders from the glass with a hauntingly dark blend of crushed rocks and sage, giving way to balsamic-tinged black cherries lifting hints of pine. It's silky smooth with cool-toned acidity and polished red and black fruits that slowly envelop the palate in primary concentration.
