The 2019 Fixin La Place has a ripe blackberry and raspberry-scented bouquet with still a bit of oak to be subsumed. The palate is rounded on the entry, ripe and rounded with fine acidity, fleshy with a nicely poised, dark cherry and blueberry finish. Lovely.

The 2019 Fixin La Place is limpid ruby in color. It has a lovely bouquet of vibrant raspberry and blueberry fruit – très Fixin. The palate is supple and lithe in the mouth, the fine tannins framing the mixture of vivacious red and blue fruit. Maybe it needs a little more complexity on the finish, but it feels longer and more tender than the previous vintage.
