Score 96/100 · Drink 2015-2020, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Sep 2015

Showing a touch of that aged patina sheen common on old furniture, the 1982 Hermitage Blanc is still perfumed and pretty, with beautiful notes of buttered lemon, liquid rocks, honeysuckle and flowers. Medium to full-bodied, elegant and seamless, it's a beautiful, fresh and classy Hermitage Blanc that's at point, yet will have a graceful decline going forward.
