Score 85/100 · Drink 1985-1992, Robert Parker, Jan 1990

This highly reputed domaine produces elegant, rather delicate wines that get a mighty dosage of aging in new oak barrels-too much so in my view. That being said, this wine is very fragrant and aromatic, with a great deal of toasty vanillin aroma. The color of this wine is deceptively light, but it has plenty of graceful, silky, smooth berry fruit flavors. It is wisest drunk within 5-7 years of the vintage.
