Another wine that stands out as an over-performer in this year's portfolio chez Servin is the 2021 Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless wine evocative of orange blossom, pear, green apple and iodine. Racy but enveloping, it's a charming classic.

The 2021 Chablis Vaucoupin 1er Cru has a crisp citrus-fresh, orange pith scented nose that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, nicely integrated with a very cohesive and poised finish. One of the best releases from Servin this vintage.
