Tasting notes
Score 85/100 · Drink 1992-1997, Robert Parker, Oct 1992

Lucien Jayer's 1990s were far less appealing than other vintages I have tasted. They are not bad wines, but are light and shallow, without the depth or substance I have found in his other top vintage. The Echezeaux is fruity, soft, and delicious, but clearly destined to be drunk over the next 4-5 years. Importer: Alain Junguenet, Wines of France, Mountainside, NJ.
