Very ripe, leesy aromas of honey, iodine and vanillin oak. Ripe, silky and round but not at all heavy or thick. In fact, this very dry wine's lemony flavor and strong finishing acids give it a youthfully disjointed character today. Finishes with distinct spicy oak. This needs a good three or four years of patience.

Aromas of peach and toasty oak. Sweet and dense but tightly wound, with a firm spine of acidity and minerality carrying the wine's fruit. Very light on its feet, spicy and long. This is completely different in style from the samples from Chassagne, as it should be.
