Score 88/100 · Drink 2021-2025, Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate, Aug 2021

From sandy soils, the 2015 Chinon Cuvée Terroir (sold as "Silènes" in France) is a stainless steel-fermented Cabernet Franc from the east side of the village of Chinon. It was aged for 1.5 years in tanks. The 2015 opens with a beautifully clear, fresh and floral bouquet. The palate is fresh, silky and beautifully aromatic, the finish crisp and crunchy. If you need some refreshment, chill the wine a bit, close your eyes and drink it as a characterful white wine and don’t look at the color.
