Tasting notes

Tasting notes
Score 86-88/100 · Robert Parker, Apr 2012

Made from tiny yields of 22 hectoliters per hectare, this blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc is severely tannic and possibly over-extracted. The wood is noticeable, the tannins astringent and lacking integration, and the finish is narrow and rough-hewn. This 2011 should be more interesting to taste after bottling.
