Score 72/100 · Drink 1982, Robert Parker, Jan 1998
For its class and obviously for the price, this skinny little wine leaves a lot to be desired. Medium ruby, with a simple, oaky, light-intensity, cherry bouquet, medium body, and tannic, short flavors that tail off in the mouth, this wine is palatable, but outclassed by numerous generic St.-Emilions made by the town's cooperative. Anticipated maturity: Now-probably in serious decline. Last tasted, 11/82.
