A unique blend of 60% Sangiovese and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2013 Estate Riserva sports a vivid ruby/purple color to go with a smokin’ bouquet of currants, black raspberries, vanilla bean, cedar spice and scorched earth. Medium to full-bodied, fresh and lively, with fine tannin and bright, yet integrated acidity, drink it anytime over the coming 7-8 years or more. These beauties are made by Kevin Healey and come from several different AVAs in the Central Coast. The estate is located in Paso Robles, and the focus is on Italian varietals. These wines see native fermentations and are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
