Tasting notes
The 2021 Pinot Noir The Goddess was matured for 18 months in 85% new French oak. It takes some time to shake off youthful, cedary tones to reveal scents of raspberry, blueberry, aniseed and botanicals. The medium-bodied palate is expressive and detailed. Its concentrated flavors are structured by velvety tannins and energetic acidity, and it has a long, perfumed finish. It will benefit from 2-3 years in the cellar. 248 cases were made.

From the Annapolis Vineyard farmed by Paul Hobbs, the 2021 Pinot Noir The Goddess is ripe ruby and displays spicy aromas of pine, pepper, and kirsch. Full-bodied and pure, with good concentration, fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long finish, notes of red raspberry liqueur fill the palate along with fresh herbs and candied roses. Drink this over the next 10-15 years.
