Tasting notes
(made with destemmed fruit and raised in 50 percent new oak) Brilliant ruby-red. Sexy, deeply perfumed aromas of blackberry, cherry cola and star anise; vanilla and woodsmoke nuances emerge as the wine opens up. Sweet and deep-pitched on the palate, offering ripe red and dark berry flavors along with complicating notes of mocha and candied licorice. Offers an appealing blend of richness and vivacity and finishes broad, spicy and very long, with building tannins.

Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2014 Pinot Noir Pommard Clone has expressive Bing cherries, warm cranberries and Provence herbs notes on the nose with a waft of underbrush. Medium-bodied with plenty of perfumed fruit and great freshness in the mouth, it has a solid frame of fine grained tannins, and it finishes with great vibrancy.
