Tasting notes
There are just 124 cases of Tournesol's 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon from the estate's vineyard in Coombsville. Aged in 100% new French oak, it offers up hints of smoked meat on the nose, paired with notes of cassis, blackberries and cedar bark. Medium to full-bodied, with ample texture, concentration and a lingering, softly tannic finish, it still leaves me with some nagging doubts regarding its future evolution.

The inky-hued 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon has solid purity as well as full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe cassis and blue fruits, chocolate, graphite, and roasted herbs. The tannins are ripe yet firm, it has good acidity, and outstanding length. It shows the more angular style of the vintage yet is clearly a rock-solid wine.
