Red and black fruits, liquid violets, sweet tobacco, and some underbrush notes all shine in the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard, a beautifully textured, layered, medium to full-bodied, concentrated 2022 that has plenty of mid-palate depth, sweet tannins, and a great finish.

There is no Shiverick Reserve this vintage and there are only four barrels of Quivet's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard. Despite the heat wave, the wine preserves some vineyard characteristics in its aromas of crushed stone, red berries and sage. In the mouth, it's medium to full-bodied, nicely supple and even liquorous, with a long, slightly warm finish.
