Score 95/100 · Drink 2016-2028, Robert Parker, Mar 2016

The 2013 Pinot Noir High Plains is a small cuvée that performed beautifully, exhibiting velvety tannins, sweet black raspberry and blackberry fruit and floral notes in the aromatics along with terrific purity, texture and a full-bodied mouthfeel. This is a finely tuned wine to drink over the next 12+ years.

The 2013 Pinot Noir High Plains is the richest and most explosive of the Dehlinger Pinots. In that sense, it is most like Goldridge because of its exuberant, powerful, dense fruit, but it has more of everything. Black cherry, cola, spice, mint and new leather hit the rich, intense finish.

Score 92-95/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2015

The 2013 Pinot Noir High Plains is shaping up to be stellar, but it is also likely to require quite a bit of time to fully open up, as the tannins are formidable. A rich, powerful wine, the 2013 hits the palate with notable volume and pure resonance. The flavors are dark and boldly sketched throughout.
