The 2003 Pinot Noir Fiddlestix Vineyard reveals plenty of herbaceous spice box notes along with lean, hard, austere tannin. While tough-textured at present, there are many good things going on in this offering. The question is whether they will come to the forefront, or will they continue to be dominated by the wine’s muscle and structure? This will be an interesting wine to re-taste in 1-2 years. Tel. Good dark red.Cherry, flowers and some obvious vanillin oak on the nose. A fairly large-scaled, fat fruit bomb of a pinot, with sweet, roundflavors of cherry, raspberry and vanillin oak. Not the most complex of this set but the fullest in body.
