Tasting notes
Dullish medium red color. Highly perfumed aromas of blackberry, candied rose petal and menthol. Concentrated, suave and perfumed in the mouth, with sweet flavors of currant, cherry and exotic oak nicely firmed by harmonious acids. A lovely, natural midweight, finishing with very fine tannins and excellent length. Aida Vineyard.

The deep ruby-colored 2003 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard offers notes of plum pudding intermixed with flowers, fresh mushrooms, forest floor, and sweet cherries. Broad and expansive on the palate with a hint of Allspice, this is a texturally compelling offering with that wonderful tactile impression that provides a sense of richness even though the wine is quite light. With a long, silky texture and a heady finish, this beauty can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years. Tel. (707) 431-1174; Fax (707) 431-1190
