Score 89/100 · Drink 2022-2032, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2022

A Cabernet Franc-dominated blend, the 2019 Suspense has lots of darker, chocolaty fruit as well as floral and herbal undertones. Nicely balanced on the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, has ripe tannins, and a good finish. Drink it over the coming decade.

Aromas of dried pineapple, lemon zest, cedar, flint and toast. It’s medium-to full-bodied with bright acidity and a firm, phenolic texture. Complex layers of ripe and dried fruit, herbs and spice lead to a bright, flavorful finish. 63% semillon, 20% sauvignon blanc and 17% muscadelle. Drink now or hold.
