Tasting notes
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is all varietal and spent 18 months in 65% new French oak. It has a solid bouquet of darker currants, tobacco, and green cedar to go with a medium to full-bodied, balanced, elegant style on the palate. It's balanced and has ripe tannins, plenty of classic Santa Barbara County Cabernet character, and a good finish. Beckmen Vineyards continues to produce charming, character-filled, impeccably made wines from their estate in Santa Ynez. Both 2019 and 2020 are strong vintages here, and the lineup is packed with solid wines.

Dark, layered and voluptuous, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Los Olivos District is superb. It presents a mix of dark fruit intermingled with a whole range of the savory and earthy undertones often found in Santa Barbara and Los Olivos Cabernets. This rich, extroverted Cabernet has a ton to offer. The substantial, resonating finish is a thing of beauty.
