On another level for this label (and at three times the price it should be), the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon A Stop Along The Way has beautiful aromatics of spicy currants, spicy wood, smoky tobacco, and Asian spices. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows a pure, layered mouthfeel with ripe tannins and a great finish. This beautifully done Oakville Cabernet is best enjoyed over the coming 10-12 years. Drink 2025-2037.

A step up over the Paso Robles release, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley brings more cassis, graphite, and smoky herb-like nuances as well as medium-bodied richness and depth on the palate. It has nicely integrated oak, a balanced mouthfeel, and ripe tannins.
