Deep garnet. Assertively perfumed raspberry, cherry pit, floral oil and exotic spice aromas are complemented by a smoky mineral flourish. Shows impressive depth as well as energy, offering appealingly sweet, mineral-tinged cherry and red berry preserve flavors and a touch of spicecake. Sappy, focused and impressively long on the finish, which features repeating smoke and floral nuances and gently chewy tannins.

More iodine, minerality, and spice notes emerge from the 2018 Pinot Noir Stone Corral Vineyard. It's medium-bodied, tight, and closed on the palate, but it has good balance and concentration. It opens up with air, but a good 2-4 years of bottle age are warranted here.
