Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2018-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015
The 2014 Corton Grand Cru Clos des Fiètres Grand Cru comes from a 0.30-hectare parcel of vines that tend to give small berries due to millerandage, and is whole bunch fermented. The nose has plenty of character, full of broody red fruit that opens in the glass and displays a marine, slightly seaweed influence. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe, gently grippy tannin, saline in the mouth with quite a long and tender finish. This is a fine grand cru for Au Pied du Mont Cauve that needs 4-5 years in bottle.
