Score 93/100 · Drink 2016-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2015

From the steepest east-facing vineyard with heterogenous soil types located just outside the winery, the 2012 Pinot Noir Jessie Vineyard includes about 40 or 50% whole cluster fruit. It has a perfumed, quite floral bouquet with generous crushed strawberry and raspberry scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, a lovely mineral-core of fruit cloaked in dark cherry and bilberry fruit. There is fine salinity here, very good depth, with a long and quite powerful saline finish. Excellent.
