Score 89/100 · Drink 2023-2025, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Mar 2023

Produced entirely from the winery's home ranch in St. Helena, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Jean Leducq is dark-hued in the glass, with cassis fruit, some herbal notes and hints of smokiness. It's medium to full-bodied, smooth and pretty supple across the mid-palate, then a bit drying and tannic on the finish, with a slight catch in the throat. Drink it young, just in case the drying notes worsen over time.
