The 2022 L'ange Rouge was fermented entirely whole cluster and consists of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. It opens with a beautiful, savory, bramble and leather-tinged nose with black pepper accents and lifted, floral top notes. The palate is plush and velvety, with an admirable balance between concentration and delineation. Chalky, lifted and already quite harmonious on the finish, this is a great candidate for the cellar, and I expect it to develop beautifully.
