2019 Eberle - Zinfandel Steinbeck Vineyard

Dark violet. Pungent, oak-accented aromas of blackberry and cherry pick up a hint of smokiness with air. Ripe dark fruit flavors show good depth, supple texture and a late hint of cracked pepper. The cherry note repeats on the gently tannic finish, which lingers with good tenacity. All American oak, 20% of it new.
