Score 88/100 · Drink 2017-2028, Robert Parker, May 2011

This seriously tannic, backward, forbiddingly tough-textured wine possesses lots of minerality and copious fruit lurking beneath all the rocks, mineral, wood and structure. It is difficult to see where this wine is going, but a word of warning. It is 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot and the Cabernet Franc can develop beautifully, but it needs time in the bottle. Anticipated maturity: 2017-2028.
