Score 87/100 · Drink 2009-2014, Jay S Miller, Wine Advocate, Oct 2009
The 2007 Pinot Noir Signature Series was made from 50% estate fruit and the balance from Willamette Valley. Medium ruby-colored, it offers up a bouquet of cinnamon, allspice, cherry, and cranberry. Sweet on the palate with some elegance, this well balanced effort will drink well for another 5 years. King Estate is a 200,000 case winery located outside of the generic Willamette Valley AVA not far from Eugene. It is a tourist destination with beautiful grounds and an attractive restaurant. The winery also makes solid wine, much of it from their own fruit which is organically certified. www.kingestate.com
