Tasting notes
I loved the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain, which is loaded with sweet red and black currant fruit as well as some classic Cabernet spice, tobacco, leather, and loamy earth notes. This medium-bodied, nicely balanced, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon has enough concentration and structure to evolve for a solid decade.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Klipsun Vineyard is perfumed, with bright raspberry and cherry giving way to dusty red florals. It's silky and cool-toned in feel, as minty herbal notes and vivid raspberry resonate throughout. The 2019 leaves a coating of fine tannins, along with a complementing burst of inner sweetness. It's so enjoyable today that it's hard to imagine waiting, however the best is truly yet to come. This is a blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon and 16% Malbec.
Blended with 16% Malbec and coming from vineyards that were first planted in the mid to late 1980s, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Klipsun Vineyard is fresh, firm and gorgeous with layers of oak, black plum, dark cherry and a dusty floral essence. Full-bodied, the palate is focused, fresh and juicy with layers of dark red and black fruit essence. The wine glides to a fantastic finish with lingering flavors of cinnamon and black raspberry jus. Just give it another few years in the bottle and drink it over the next 15 to 20 years.
Aromas of grated nutmeg, black and red currants and wild herbs. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Fresh acidity and ripe fruit create a pleasant dynamic on the palate. Well balanced. 84% cabernet sauvignon, 7% merlot, 7% malbec and 2% petit verdot. Drink now.
