Score 91/100 · Drink 2011-2021, Robert Parker, May 2011

A sleeper of the vintage made from much lower yields (27 hectoliters per hectare compared to 43 hectoliters per hectare in 2010), the 2008 (100% Merlot) came in at 13% natural alcohol. This solidly constructed, dense, unfined and unfiltered St.-Emilion possesses plenty of richness as well as fruit. Enjoy it over the next decade.
