Score 86/100 · Drink 2017-2023, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2017

The 2014 La Rose Perriere was missing a little fruit intensity on the nose, a bashful Lussac Saint Emilion compared to the 2014 Barbe Blanche tasted alongside. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin, a little conservative, although it improves towards the finish that has appreciable tension, if not the persistence of the best.

Score 90/100 · Drink 2017-2021, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2017

The La Rose Perrière is a deep, inky wine. Crème de cassis, mint, sweet oak, violet and licorice notes flesh out in an unctuous, supple Lussac-Saint-Émilion that will appeal most to readers who prefer the more flamboyant side of Bordeaux. Tasted two times.
