Score 90/100 · Drink 2016-2026, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Mar 2015

The 2012 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill was originally planted in 1981 but replanted after phylloxera in the mid-1990s. It has quite an intense bouquet with blackberry and blueberry scents, well defined with a fine mineral component. The palate is medium-bodied with a saline entry. There is appreciable depth here with plenty of sappy black and red fruit with quite a dense, slightly ferrous finish. Again, this is a fine 2012 from Ken Wright.
