Score 90/100 · Drink 2006-2017, Robert Parker, Feb 2005

A brilliant effort, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon Sonoma (5,000 cases produced) is a sleeper of the vintage. A deep ruby/purple color is followed by loads of black currant fruit intermixed with hints of smoke, earth, dried herbs, and licorice. It possesses full body, wonderful ripeness and purity, a layered mouthfeel, and a velvety texture. Moreover, it is fairly priced. (Release date Spring 2006) Tel. (707) 938-5170; Fax (707) 938-5195
