Score 91/100 · Drink 2015-2030, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jul 2020

The 2005 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Boudriotte bursts from the glass with a rich bouquet of pear, candied pineapple, ripe citrus fruits, fresh butter and cotton candy. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with an expansive attack, ripe acids and a saline finish. This is a ripe, generous wine that lacks a little tension, but it is nonetheless aging gracefully.

Pale green-tinged yellow. Lovely lift to the perfumed aromas of lime and stone. Juicy, pure and strong, with a rich but dry flavor dominated by crushed stone. Uncompromisingly dry and long on the aftertaste. Strong juice. The Ramonets have a blend of older and younger vines here.
