Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2017-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jan 2015

The 2013 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes has a tightly wound nose with red plum, soy and a scintilla of something “Oriental” that might well be in situ by the time of bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with supple, lithe tannin that encase bright red fruit and neatly carry the oak. Harmonious in the mouth, this should drink well over the next 6 to 8 years.
