Score 87-89/100 · Drink 2020-2033, Neal Martin, Jan 2019

The 2017 Pommard Clos Micault 1er Cru has a straightforward, well defined bouquet with hints of autumn leaves and black tea filtering through the red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly tart entry. This feels crisp and linear, quite precise with a touch of piquancy towards the finish. One of the earlier drinking Pommards for the domaine.
