Certified organic by CCPB. Just mid ruby. Impressive minerally, stony nose and succulent red-fruit palate that becomes more aromatic on the finish. Gripping tannins put a firm Serralunga stamp on the wine. (WS)

From 18 different areas within the Comune, the medium red 2020 Barolo Del Comune Di Serralunga D'Alba offers spicy notes of fresh cherries, raspberries, rosemary, incense, and orange peel. Medium-bodied and elegant, it’s approachable now, with ripe tannins and very harmonious, savory notes of pure tea leaf on the finish. Very well-styled, it has a good sense of the village it hails from as well as the finesse this vintage offers. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.
