Score 85/100 · Drink 2002-2006, Robert Parker, Jun 2002
This wine's subdued aromatics are atypical for Pinot Noir. A dark ruby color is followed by flavors of sweet currant and cherry fruit, medium body, and a compressed, one-dimensional character. Nevertheless, there is enough in the bottle to merit a recommendation. Consume it over the next 3-4 years. Tel. (888) 388-9050

Red-ruby. Spicy redcurrant, strawberry, black cherry, licorice, herbs and underbrush on the nose, along with a meaty nuance. Silky, generous and pliant in the mouth, with ripe flavors of dark berries, licorice and fresh herbs. Finishes with smooth tannins and lingering flavors of berries and baking spices. Nicely made and substantial.
