Lemon and spices on the nose. Supple and tactile on the palate and much riper than the 2013 version (Gaunoux began with somewhat higher grape sugars), offering pear and ripe peach flavors. Finishes with a slight phenolic edge but also good sweetness of fruit.

Medium yellow. Exotic aromas of peach, apricot and honey. Dry and slightly tart, with the fruit in the deep background today. I find this quite severe today, and lacking the sweetness of the vintage.
