Bright, deep red. Raspberry and rose petal aromas complemented by sexy truffle and underbrush. Silky and suave in the mouth, with an almost confectionery sweetness leavened by the wine's firm structure and very fine tannins. Fat, seamless and impressively long. This has turned out very well.

Good dark red. Dark aromas of blackberry, licorice, minerals and cola. Silky on entry, then concentrated, backward and a bit youthfully medicinal, with noteworthy inner-palate energy. A bit dry today and dominated by its structure. Hard to assess in its current state. Also tasted: 2003 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes.
