Nicely firmed by an edge of acidity that gives freshness to the sweet, lingering apricot flavor. (A just-bottled version of this wine for the French market was limey and tightly wound, with a youthfully bitter edge and excellent length, meriting an 89(+?) rating; with aeration, it showed some exotic yellow fruit aromas.)
