Tasting notes
As to the red, the 2018 Pinot Noir Renteria Brown Ranch has a spicy, complex, forest-like bouquet as well as plenty of wild strawberry and mulberry fruit, medium-bodied richness, lots of sappy herb and floral nuances, good acidity, and a clean finish. This complex, impressive Pinot is going to benefit from another year or so of bottle age and keep for 5-7 years in cold cellars.

Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2018 Pinot Noir Renteria Brown Ranch gives up fragrant notes of cranberry sauce, red currant jelly and chocolate-covered cherries with touches of wild sage, underbrush and wet pebbles. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a firm backbone of fine-grained tannins and lively acidity supporting the tightly knit, juicy red berry flavors, finishing with a lingering herbal lift.
