Score 92-94/100 · Drink 2020-2038, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2017

The 2016 Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has quite a rich and effervescent, but well-defined bouquet with scents of clear honey, hazelnut and just a pinch of spice. The palate is well balanced, with an edgy saline entry, then the power of the vintage surges through toward a slightly honeyed, almond and hazelnut finish that lingers in the mouth. N.B. This will be released under the Morey Blanc and Pierre Morey labels. They will be equally fabulous.
