Score 92/100 · Drink 2025-2045, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Sep 2021

Derived in recent years from a source in the Clos de Bèze, Charlopin's 2019 Chambertin Grand Cru is a full-bodied, rich and muscular wine evocative of orange rind, plums, ripe berry fruit, woodsmoke and spices. It's a powerful, broad-shouldered cuvée that was quite closed when I tasted it.
