Dark ruby. Blueberry, cherry pit, licorice and a smoky bacon quality on the nose. Nicely concentrated but energetic as well; a core of juicy acidity sharpens fresh blue fruit and salty olive flavors. The long, velvety finish features harmonious tannins, a hint of candied violet and lingering smokiness.

Deep lurid ruby. Aromas of ripe dark fruits, olive and licorice, backed by tobacco and cracked pepper nuances. Silky and open-knit, offering appealingly sweet, vaguely jammy blackberry and spicecake flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate. Closes supple and broad, with good cling, even tannins and a touch of pepperiness.
