The 2019 Pinot Noir Lewis Vineyard Reserve is also from Carneros, but it’s a bigger, richer, meatier wine, with lots of black cherry and redcurrant-like fruits as well as notes of leafy herbs, spice, spring flowers, and underbrush. Medium to full-bodied and nicely textured, with plenty of mid-palate depth and a well-balanced, lengthy style on the palate, it’s ideal for drinking over the coming 5-6 years.

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Pinot Noir Lewis Vineyard Reserve drifts effortlessly out of the glass with fragrant notes of black raspberries, kirsch and redcurrant jelly plus suggestions of mossy tree bark, wild thyme, lilacs and cardamom. The medium-bodied palate is charged with refreshing red fruit and herbal sparks of energy, supported by velvety tannins and a lively backbone, finishing fragrant.
