Score 94/100 · Drink 1998-2008, Robert Parker, Dec 1998
The 1997 Delice du Semillon is a decadently rich, unctuous, exceptionally pure and sweet wine that will thrill nectar lovers. This wine resembles a full-bodied Sauternes. It should drink well for another decade. Tel. (707) 963-2745; Fax (707) 963-4831

Livelier, more floral aromas of citrus peel, grapefruit and spicy oak. Less viscous and honeyed in the mouth, but very intensely flavored and tactile. Vibrant and strong in extract. The long, even finish leaves a dusty impression on the palate.
