Tasting notes
60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay. Cellared in 1997. Disgorged in 2021. RS 9.5 g/l. Lively, linear. Lacking a bit of the density expected but makes up for this with focus and freshness. Toasty notes on the palate but is tighter and more direct than many of the 1995s. Acidity is pretty evident and just on the right side of not being exaggerated. (AWH)
